THOMAS BAKER: LOEWE

The recent event at LUV Interior in Hamburg was an unforgettable showcase of innovation and artistry, unveiling Loewe’s latest designs in a setting that blurred the line between technology and fine art.

Photographer Thomas Baker masterfully captured the opulent, enigmatic atmosphere, presenting still-life compositions that evoke the timeless elegance of classical paintings. His images bring the cutting-edge technology of Loewe to life, highlighting its seamless integration with a carefully curated environment.

The concept, initiated by Bodo and brought to life with set design by Lisa Jahovic, blended contemporary and antique elements to create a surreal, immersive space. The photographs beautifully document the interaction between Kvadrat fabrics from Kinnasand, the deep, rich tones of Little Greene’s wall colours, and the interplay of light, creating a harmonious yet dynamic atmosphere.

The visual impact of the OLED screens, elevated by Jake Curtis’s materials, transformed Loewe’s bild 9 into a modern masterpiece. Baker’s photographs reveal the depth of the colours and textures illuminated by the screen, seamlessly reflected in the surrounding tableau, inviting viewers to see the fusion of technology and art in an entirely new light.
