Bocuse D’or

Bodo Sperlein was commissioned to design a bespoke platter for the UK team, led by chef Tom Phillips, for the prestigious Bocuse d'Or 2018. Tailored to showcase each element of Tom's menu, the tiered platter drew inspiration from the Welsh hills and was crafted from polished metal and wood. Accompanying stoneware dishes, handmade in London, featured a platinum lustre glaze and a texture reminiscent of the region's weathered rocks. The platter was prominently displayed during the competition in Turin.
