Layers: Solo Exhibition at Andreas Murkudis

The Layers exhibition, a prestigious solo showcase by Bodo, i was on view at the iconic Andreas Murkudis gallery, marking an essential highlight in contemporary design. Spanning an impressive six-year collection of innovative work, Layers represents a journey through his prolific collaborations, expertly timed to celebrate Andreas Murkudis' 20th anniversary.

The exhibition exuded a radiant ambiance created by the composition of distinguished designs in an array of mediums, as pieces featured in “Layers” continue to push boundaries, and highlight originality and elegance of Bodo Sperlein designs.

‘This exhibition will enable me to showcase my fascination with materiality and  my desire to push boundaries in design. I believe it will highlight the many  layers – in terms of material and form – that I have experimented with over the  last 20 years in the design business. I’m glad to be working with Andreas Murkudis on this endeavour – he’s a great curator, has an even greater eye for  detail and I like his laid-back, no-bullshit attitude.’
