Bodo Sperlein & Edelgrund | Stephanie Thatenhorst

From September 7 to October 6, 2023, the Stephanie Thatenhorst Showroom in Munich hosted a captivating exhibition celebrating design innovation. A collaboration between Bodo Sperlein and the Hamburg-based Edelgrund, the exhibition featured a stunning collection of cutting-edge pieces that merge craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.

The exhibition spotlighted Bodo Sperlein’s latest creations, including the Volière and Osca wood veneer lighting designs for LZF Lamps. These sculptural lighting pieces exemplify Bodo’s signature design philosophy of blending form and function, with each piece radiating an elegant warmth and sophistication. Visitors also experienced the luxurious MAYU armchair, upholstered in fabric by nya nordiska, an embodiment of refined comfort and modern style.

In addition, the exhibition showcased the curated collection of kilims by Edelgrund, bringing vibrant, textile artistry to the forefront. Each piece reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and design, providing a timeless contrast to the sleekness of Sperlein’s lighting and furniture.

The exhibition was a sensory celebration of design, enhanced by the sparkling effervescence of Bouvet Ladubay Brut de Loire, which was served during the opening reception, adding a touch of luxury to the event.
