TEXTILE WORLDS

The striking Boja CS textile in Midnight, designed by Bodo for textile brand nya nordiska, was showcased in the prestigious 'Textile Worlds' exhibition at the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich. Hosted in collaboration with Die Neue Sammlung, this exhibition offers a fascinating journey through the evolution of textile design, featuring 180 exceptional works spanning the 19th century to the present.

The exhibition, curated by Prof. Dr. Angelika Nollert, Dr. Xenia Riemann-Tyroller, and Dr. Polina Gedova, is organised around four key themes: interdisciplinary perspectives, global narratives, textiles and space, and innovative developments in fabric design.

The Boja CS textile, part of Bodo's collection for nya nordiska, is celebrated for its elegant semi-sheer texture and is available in an array of vibrant colors, alongside other designs such as Balbo, Boom, Blitz, and Blast. Known for its modern yet timeless aesthetic, the Boja CS exemplifies the cutting-edge of textile design, making it a standout piece in the exhibition.

The exhibition ran from July 21st to October 3rd, 2023.
