NIDUS KOSMOS EXHIBITION

Bodo has been honoured with an invitation to participate in the esteemed Houses in Books exhibition at the Nidus Kosmos Gallery in Düsseldorf. Curated by Oliver Jahn, former Global Editorial Director of Architectural Digest, this exhibition is a celebration of influential literature, featuring 100 books that have profoundly shaped the careers of visionaries in architecture, design, and culture.

For this unique showcase, Bodo contributed a cherished piece from his personal collection: The Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2003. This book chronicles the exceptional work of legendary architect Oscar Niemeyer and his sole project in the United Kingdom—the iconic 2003 Serpentine Pavilion. To accompany the book, Bodo penned a reflective note for visitors:

"The book is a treasure trove of insight into Oscar Niemeyer's only UK project, the iconic Serpentine Gallery Pavilion of 2003. It offers a glimpse into his creative process and includes interviews with him and the Serpentine curators, highlighting his diverse repertoire."

This tribute underscores Niemeyer's lasting influence on Bodo’s design philosophy and showcases the profound inspiration he draws from the architect's visionary work.

Visitors can explore this captivating narrative at the Nidus Kosmos Gallery from May 27th to July 29th, where Bodo’s contribution stands as a testament to the intersection of literature and architectural legacy.

Bodo’s recommendation is included in a book publication titled ‘Das Haus Im Buch’ featuring all 100 books that were on display at the exhibition. The book is available for purchase from various retailers.
