Menu 2024
Merging artistry, craftsmanship, and sustainability, Menu 1 was a transformative exhibition conceived and meticulously curated by Bodo Sperlein for Fuorisalone and Milan Design Week 2024. Set against the enchanting backdrop of the Sant'Angelo Monastery's courtyard and cloisters, the exhibition created a serene yet dynamic setting that seamlessly integrated the designs with the historic space.
Aligned with Fuorisalone's 'Materia Natura' theme, Menu 1 offered a captivating journey through contemporary design, celebrating diverse and timeless collections. The exhibition was a sensory experience where each piece told a story of innovation, sustainability, and the harmonious blending of nature and artistry.
Visitors were treated to the premiere of Bodo's Wave collection, as well as his debut rug collection Botanica, created in collaboration with Spanish textile brand Gan Rugs. Other highlights included the unveiling of the Portal outdoor furniture and lighting collection for Weishäupl, the S-Line kitchen block for Orea, and the Artisan collection for family-run wallpaper, fabric, and paint brand Coordonné. The exhibition also featured Sperlein’s designs for Lzf and Lobmeyr, alongside other global brands embodying contemporary design culture.
Menu 1 was a standout event during Milan Design Week, offering visitors a unique blend of creativity, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
